Jewish teens

In 2010, I discovered the forgotten story of 80 Czech Jewish children. Originally, they were supposed to travel to British Mandate Palestine in 1939, but due to the security situation, they ended up heading to Denmark, where they were taken in by foster families.

After four years in Denmark, the children fled to Sweden. When the war ended, they began searching for their loved ones who had survived the hardships of war. For decades, this group of "children" were all over the world. In 2013, I organized their reunion in Israel. I published the results of my search in the book Friendship Despite Hitler.

During the lecture, I will explain how the detective search took place literally all over the world. What eyewitnesses in the Czech Republic, Scandinavia, Israel, Canada, and America told me.
